Materiality Assessment Light Template published
Due to the CSRD Omnibus proposal, numerous companies will no longer be obliged to publish a CSRD report in the future. Nevertheless, many companies want to align themselves more sustainably and conduct a pragmatic and simplified Materiality Assessment Light and, if applicable, publish a voluntary VSME report.

Who created the Excel template for the Materiality Assessment?
The template was developed by Alexander Spahn, founder of CSR Tools. He began his career at the international auditing and consulting firm Deloitte. Since 2023, he has been working intensively on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and assists companies with their entry into sustainable reporting.
In 2024, he successfully completed the further training to become a certified Sustainability Reporting Advisor at EBS University of Business and Law.
